GMDSS Radio Log Book

GMDSS Radio Log Book shall be used on following ships engaged in international voyages:

• Cargo ships of 300 GT and above
• All passenger ships

The following records in GMDSS Radio Log Book shall be made:

• a summary of distress, urgency and safety radio communications
• important incidents relating to radio services
• the position of the ship at least once a day
• a summary of the condition of the radio equipment and tests performed thereof.
