Professional Education Programmes

As prescribed by the Cabinet regulation No. 895 "Regulations regarding certification of seafarers" , any candidate for qualification shall have completed a relevant education programme and shore based and/or on-board training as a part of this programme.

Currently there are navigational and marine engineering programmes of different levels, as well as ship's electro-technical officer, able seafarer deck and able seafarer engine education programmes that can be acquired in Latvia.
