SKLOIS is an abbreviation used to refer to the “International Cargo Logistics and Port Information System”. It is an information system (website: https://www.msw.lv) designed to facilitate and digitalize logistics and port operations. The system provide:
- A national ship traffic monitoring and information exchange system between ports, customs, authorities, agents, and logistics service providers (National SafeSeaNet System).
- Information management regarding cargo flows, ship arrivals and departures, as well as other port operations.
- Compliance with international regulations and local legal requirements.
Since January 1, 2019, the functions of maintaining this information system have been carried out by the State Limited Liability Company “Latvian Maritime Administration.”
