As prescribed by the Cabinet regulation No. 895 “Regulations regarding certification of seafarers”, every candidate for certification shall have completed an appropriate seagoing service or workshop training which shall be adequately documented in an approved training record book. The relevant training record books, as appropriate for the qualification, and which are published and approved by the Registry of Seamen, are found in this section. They are aimed to be used by MET institutions or seafarers individually. The training record books shall be printed out, bound and completed in compliance with the rules set out in the training record book.
